Tyrone Presbytery’s Burkina Faso Team
3rd of July – 20th of July
Thirteen volunteers from Churches from the Tyrone Presbytery are heading with Mission Africa to Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso to do children’s ministry, building work and training for local Pastors.
They will be working with Mission Africa’s Jeremy Nash and the local Pastor throughout the two and half weeks. The team intends to keep a blog of their activities, photos and experiences at burkinafasoteam.wordpress.com.
Prayer requests…
- For safe travels as the Team fly from Dublin to Paris and on to Ouagadougou
- That all the materials and equipment that the team are taking with them will get through security checks and arrive safely.
- For safety and protection from illnesses and diseases.
- For Team relations and that everyone would work well together.
- For opportunities for the Team to share the Gospel.
- That those witnessed to, would respond positively to Christ.
- For the French language barrier to be overcome.
- For wisdom in all situations.
- That the Church in Burkina Faso would be blessed and encouraged by our visit.
- That the new building supported by the Presbytery would to used to glorify God.
