Morphine
What is it:
Morphine is a principal constituent of opium, and is a highly addictive drug, it is a pain killer and it relaxes and brings about a happy feeling.
Effects:
It can reduce a person’s level of consciousness, harming their ability to think or to be fully aware of the present surroundings. It can cause nausea, vomiting, sweating and confusion, fainting, sedation, restlessness and mood changes.
It can also create irritability, anxiety, headaches, weakness, sleeplessness, tremors, cramps and can increase the heart rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure.
